The homeowners in Maricopa, Arizona, were facing multiple issues with their concrete surfaces. Their driveway had become uneven, with sections that had settled due to soil compression, causing significant tripping hazards. The patio and walkways were also affected, with visible cracks and stains that detracted from the home’s overall appearance. These problems made outdoor activities less enjoyable and posed safety risks for the family and visitors.
The driveway slabs had sunk, making parking and driving difficult. The concrete surfaces showed signs of wear and tear, with discoloration and cracks that allowed moisture to seep in, leading to further soil erosion and potential structural issues. The homeowners reached out to Arizona Foundation Solutions to restore their concrete surfaces and enhance their curb appeal.
Victor, our Design Specialist, conducted a thorough evaluation of the concrete issues. He identified the areas where the soil had compressed, causing the concrete to settle and crack. Victor proposed a comprehensive solution using PolyLevel for lifting and leveling the concrete, NexusPro for sealing cracks, and DecoShield for enhancing and protecting the concrete surfaces.
Eduardo, the Foreman, led the project with precision. The team started with the PolyLevel injection to raise and stabilize the sunken concrete slabs. The PolyLevel foam, known for its light weight and strong lifting capabilities, was injected beneath the slabs, quickly expanding to fill the voids and lifting the concrete back to its original position. This process was completed efficiently, allowing the driveway to be used shortly after.
Next, the team addressed the cracks using NexusPro, a silicone-based sealant that offers long-lasting flexibility and resistance to extreme weather conditions. The cracks were meticulously prepared and filled with NexusPro, ensuring a durable seal that prevents further moisture infiltration and soil erosion.
Finally, DecoShield was applied to all concrete surfaces, including the driveway, patio, and walkways. This translucent, tinted sealer not only enhanced the appearance of the concrete but also provided a protective layer against chemicals, moisture, and UV damage. The DecoShield application resulted in a uniform, visually appealing finish that significantly boosted the home’s curb appeal.
The transformation was remarkable. The driveway, patio, and walkways were now level, crack-free, and aesthetically pleasing. The DecoShield sealer added a sophisticated touch, making the concrete surfaces look brand new. The homeowners were delighted with the quick and efficient service provided by Eduardo and his team. Thanks to Alysia’s excellent customer care, the entire process from booking to completion was smooth and hassle-free.
