The stem wall of the Glendale home began showing serious warning signs of failure. This was due to the oxidation of the rebar inside the concrete. Our expert stem excavated the area near the damaged stem wall and chipped out existing failed concrete to fractured rock and behind existing rebar. We removed the existing rebar and replaced it with our non-ferrous composite. To finish, we coated and patched the area with a cement patch and backfilled the excavated area around the home!

The Homeowner of this Gilbert, AZ home was concerned about their cracking, flaking stem wall. Most stem walls fail because the rebar inside oxidizes. This oxidization causes expansion and cracks, which gradually grow and worsen over time. Our crew replaced the rebar with our non-ferrous composite. Basement wall crack repair is definitely not an easy job, but that is something Arizona Foundation Solutions know how to repair very well!
