Underpinning System: Excavators
Heavy machinery is necessary because the deeper we dig, the harder the soil gets making the whole process a little more tedious but not impossible.
Underpinning System: How deep is enough?
Another common question from our Homeowners is, how deep are we going to dig? The answer will differ from each residency because each house was designed and built differently and in a different location.
Underpinning System: Who says where goes what?
The location of each pier is different depending on the level of support required in the specific area of the house. Some rooms might be heavier than others or just designed differently; that is why our engineering department is in charge of locating each pier based on the house's necessities.
Underpinning System: Last Assessment
Right before permanently attaching each pier with its bracket, our foundation professionals need to complete the last assessment to evaluate the current status of the house's foundation and see if it is wise to lift the foundation back to its original position.
House After the Underpinning Process
This is what a house looks like after the Underpinning system got installed. As you can see, you can barely notice that any work was done, which is the goal of our foundation heroes; they need to leave the place better than how they found it. Thanks to Arizona Foundation Solutions, the house looks the same or even better but with a stronger and more stable foundation than ever before.
