Foundation Repair Photo Album: Re Leveling a Chandler Mid Century Home
The owners of this charming mid-century home in Chandler, Arizona reached out to us after noticing several symptoms (also known as signs of stress) of a foundation problem. These signs of stress included:
Interior wall cracks
Exterior wall cracks
Cracks in the tile flooring
Unlevel floors
An initial, Level A Foundation Inspection determined a Forensic Foundation Inspection was needed. This Level B Foundation Inspection is conducted by out Engineering Department & looks at multiple data points to interpret the root cause of the foundation problem. A recommended repair plan is then composed based on the diagnosis.
In this case, there were areas of foundation settlement as well as foundation heave. Areas experiencing foundation settlement were underpinned to provide stabilization. Chemical mudjacking was also used to address areas of the concrete foundation that needed a bit more support. The foundation heave was addressed with our patented MoistureLevel Smart Foundation System. MoistureLevel uses sub slab depressurization to draw out moisture from beneath the home’s concrete foundation.
Our work comes with a transferrable, written warranty should the home ever be sold.
