Just Another Day at the Office
Here, we are getting ready to begin the foundation repair / underpinning of this brick home in the historic Central City neighborhood of Phoenix, AZ.
Excavator
The area to be underpinned was large enough to allow our excavator to do it's thing! Some foundation repair job sites only have enough room for a hand dig.
Home Interior
This historic Central City home is mid renovation. With the 'bones' of the house exposed, a number of the symptoms indication a problem with the home's foundation were very apparent.
Slab Crack
The interior foundation slab crack found in this historic Phoenix home created a literal tripping hazard!
Brickwork Patch Fail
This historic Phoenix home had a number of brick work repair attempts. You can clearly see where this brickwork has been patched. Remember, if you do not address the REASON for the stair step cracks in brick work, they will return!
Window Sil Crack
This crack just beneath the historic home's window sill.
Brickwork Patch Fail, Pt 2
We have another area of stair step cracking in brick work that was poorly patched.
Exterior Cracks
Exterior, horizontal cracks were also observed.
Topographical Map
The floor level readings, taken during the Forensic Engineering Report data gathering process, helps Arizona Foundation Solutions understand WHY the foundation problem occurs and how we can best fix the home's foundation.
