Industry Case Study: Medieval Times Down in Scottsdale, AZ
Challenge
Situation: This arena down in Scottsdale, Arizona, is called Medieval Times, and it is where many passionate families who enjoy traveling back through time, at least for a few hours, enjoy their time. Families, couples, or even friends who enjoy crossing swords and eating a good turkey leg! However, there were some tripping hazards on a few paths of the location which might lead to potential harm for a client or even to a lawsuit. The executive team had a meeting and decided to repaired all tripping hazards to avoid any unfortunate event that might occur in the facility.
Challenges: One of the challenges was to determine the amount of foam material that needed to get injected into the areas. The amount and the location of each injection were crucial to provide a strong and long-lasting concrete lifting solution.
Solution
Solution: Arizona Foundation Solutions inspected the entire premises to see if there were other tripping hazards and reported them to the production team. Later in the process, the concrete experts searched for accessibility since they needed the AZFS truck close for the PolyLevel Injection. After drilling holes in the most affected areas, the concrete repair experts injected the foam material called PolyLevel to lift the concrete slabs back to their original position. The team needed to be careful and stop injecting for short periods of time since the material needed to expand and solidify.
Conclusion: All unleveled concrete were repaired, and the whole Medieval Times Staff was relieved that they did not have to face any potential lawsuit or encounter any unfortunate events.
