Stem Wall Signs of Failure
Some common signs or symptoms of a stem wall failure are flaking paint and concrete cracks. Unfortunately, when these symptoms become visible, it is too late, and there is a high probability the whole rebar will have to get replaced due to oxidation and rust production.
Damaged Concrete
In this step of the process, the old and damaged concrete needs to get removed from the stem wall. Our heroes use drills as shown in the picture to make the rebar visible and look for any galvanized tiedown straps.
Rebar Oxidation
The rebar gets oxidized when the concrete gets too much exposure to moisture, changing its PH and becoming more acid. The acidity of the concrete makes the concrete crack, and the rebar deteriorates.
Protect the Surroundings
Our heroes are very conscious about the surroundings of their work, and they try to make the lowest alteration possible on the property. Sometimes the Homeowners have gravel or even grass, and they do not want it ruined by any means. Our professionals used plastic sheets to protect all the surroundings effectively.
NeveRust™ Result
